The wild west is alive and well in Cynthia’s heart and soul, as well as her camera lens. As evident by her portfolio, Cynthia feels drawn to photograph horses more than any other subject. Living many months of the year under the big skies of Montana provides Cynthia with amazing opportunities to shoot cowboys, the west, and agriculture. Cynthia loves learning all she can about the art and practice of photography, describing long workshops under skilled teachers as “a long drink of pure, cool water.” Self-described as quirky and funny, Cynthia’s goal for her work is to let others have a glimpse of her life and feel as if they are right beside her as she snaps a shot. Be sure to check out her image titled “39 Below,” which ran on the cover of National Geographic catalog in December of 2016, an honor Cynthia is rightly very proud of.
