After joining the photographic imaging family business and working with some of the finest photographers in the country, Dick Coleman became inspired to learn more about the craft. That decision lead him to compete in local, regional, and national exhibits. Today, Dick has left competition behind but continues to enjoy photography as a hobby. “To me, photography is like that one great golf shot that keeps a golfer coming back. If I capture one unique image from an outing, it gets me excited for my next adventure.” Dick primarily considers himself a landscape photographer and enjoys the travel it brings. He never plans a scene, preferring instead the spontaneous arrival of each image. “I use only natural light and let nature itself guide me. There are no duplicate images.” Ultimately, Dick enjoys the challenge of being creative and thinking in the moment; he knows he is limited only by his imagination.
