From the moment he first thumbed through a National Geographic magazine, Scott knew his dream was to become a photographer. He finds creative inspiration in the details of everyday life - from a tiny leaf on the sidewalk to an old building on the corner. As long as he feels compelled by the emotion or mood of a scene, Scott lets the beauty all around him provide the often spontaneous backdrop for his photography. His core philosophy is to let a scene speak to you before you shoot, as it will tell you what to photograph. Ultimately, Scott’s images reflect a visual representation of what he felt the moment the shutter on his camera was released. Scott is a native Texan who currently lives on Milwaukee’s East Side, with his wife and son.
